10/30/2023 0 Comments Sketchup 2017 3d warehouse![]() ![]() It appears the functionality of the free versions of this invaluable software are being progressively diminished, leaving frequent users with only a very expensive alternative to achieve the same results that have been provided free for years. I assumed the later model versions probably would not work with my Sketchup 2017, so I tried downloading and importing the Collada version but unfortunately that didn't work either. ![]() When downloading the item in my browser I was offered 4 options: Sketchup 2019, 2020, 0r 2021, or something called "Collada". after payment of US$299/CA$375 to Trimble. I was able to download the item, but when I tried to import it I received a message saying it had been created in a later version of Sketchup than mine (2017) and that to complete the procedure I would have to upgrade to the current version - i.e. Reportedly it involves logging into 33 with an up to date browser using Trimble id and password, and downloading the desired warehouse item then importing the item into your Sketchup 2017 model. Below are images of what I am seeing in Sketchup 2017 along with the error.Downloading 3D warehouse items into a Sketchup 2017 model no longer works, but apparently a workaround exists. Does anyone have any other ideas on what I can do to get the 3D Warehouse to work correctly again on Sketchup 2017? My only next step is a 100% fresh install of windows 10 incase. It also works fine on Sketchup Free (web) however I prefer the desktop app myself but I don’t need or want to pay for Pro. For some odd reason it works just like normal on Sketchup PRO 2021 desktop app. Error is: uncaught syntaxerror unexpected token… vendors 619a5ebf2.js:2 It is imaged below.Īnother check I did was I signed up for the Sketchup PRO 2021. I did notice an Error when I inspected the 3d Warehouse element in Sketchup 2017 but I was unable to resolve the error. Verified the Ports that Sketchup uses are open.Flushed DNS and changed IP address + Verify network settings.Verified all Drivers and Software was up to date (Re-installing Visual c++ ).♽eleted 100% Through Registry Editor & File Explorer then Re-Installed ![]() So far I’ve tried the following to get it to work correctly again. I’ve been using this app for many months without any issues. I was in the middle of using Sketchup 2017 today (was several hours in) and the 3d Warehouse stopped working. ![]()
